Yuvan Shankar Raja's first production venture Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, turned out to be an immensely successful venture for the composer. The film, starring former Bigg Boss Tamil contestants Raiza Wilson and Harish Kalyan, struck gold at the box office. The movie got quite a good reach, so much so that the director of the film Elan has teamed up with Sarbjit and Bhoomi producer Sandeep Singh to remake it in Bollywood. While we have no official news about this project yet, our sources have informed us about an interesting development.
Our source said, “Elan's next Tamil film will be with producer Rajarajan of K Productions. The pre-production work of the film has already begun in full swing.” K Productions had also earlier co-produced Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, along with music director Yuvan Shankar Raja's banner. They have also previously released Rajamouli's historical epic, Baahubali 2 and they've also got the theatrical rights of Dhanush’s Enai Noki Paayum Thota. The details of this project aren’t out yet and an official announcement will be made soon.
Elan’s first film Grahanam (which has been stuck in the cans for quite some time) can now be expected to find a release date soon, thanks to the success that he has achieved with PPK. Krishna, Chandran, and Karunakaran have played the lead roles in this long-delayed film.
