Radhika Sarathkumar’s daughter Rayane gives a befitting reply to the trolls commenting on her family lineage
Radhika Sarathkumar’s daughter Rayane from her previous marriage has married cricketer Mithun and the couple is blessed with a baby recently. She had shared a picture of her with Sarathkumar holding the baby with a caption ‘blessed’. She was trolled by a section of twitterati who mocked Sarathkumar for holding the baby of his wife’s former husband’s daughter’s child. It was done in a very bad taste and definitely condemnable.
However, not the one to take things lying, Rayane retorted with a tweet that reads, “This is the type of world, we live in. And YES, dad is super blessed. Why wouldn’t he be? He’s got an amazing wife, 4 children, a grandson and a family who love him more than life itself.” This tweet was accompanied by a lengthy message too.
"Usually, don't give a second look for these trolls. Trust me I get a lot. I've heard this shit from the time I was a little girl. During my wedding and now when I have a child of my own. Let me get this out there loud and clear-it takes a lot of self-respect and courage to walk away from a marriage that too with a young child. It takes a whole lot of self-belief and determination to be a single parent and to start a business from scratch and to have a successful career while juggling everything alone. My mother is a superwoman. Anyone can have a child. But to love someone else's child and treat them like your own can only be done by a real man.
My father. Yes, he is my father never made me feel like a package deal something or someone he would have to accept if he wanted my mother in his life. I wasn't a burden in his eyes. I was a bonus and it takes a strong man to do that. It's not about whose DNA is recombined with whose. It's about love. Commitment and being there when everything is going to hell. The family doesn't always need to be blood. It's the one who accepts you as their own and will do absolutely anything and everything in their power to see you happy and love you no matter what. We are a mixed family but we are a happy and strong one. So to the trolls, I hope one day you evolve from your insecurities and spread love instead of hate,” her message read.Read More
