Sai Pallavi has become a sort of a sensation since her debut film Premam. The actress has weaved magic on-screen with her charming smile, attractive performance and killer dance moves. Recently, her film Maari 2’s song 'Rowdy Baby' crossed 250 million views on Youtube and it made her, even more, the talk of the town. Following in her steps is her sister Pooja Kannan, who made her acting debut with a Tamil short film titled Kaara. She garnered amazing responses for it and people were eager to know about her next venture and were also puzzled as to when she would make her debut on the big screen.
On Thursday morning, there were rumours that Pooja is set to make her debut in a feature-length film with none other than Dhanush. It was rumoured that Sai Pallavi wanted her sister’s break in the industry to be with a big name and felt this to be the best project. She was rumoured to play an important role in Dhanush's second directorial project. Since Dhanush and Pooja have shared pictures together on various occasions, the rumours were quite high on social media. However, when we checked with her mother Radha Kannan, she said, "Pooja is not acting in any films and there are no plans about that as of now. News of her acting is completely false. She is currently pursuing her studies and her focus is only on that."
It looks like fans will have to wait a bit longer to see Sai Pallavi’s sister making waves on the big screen. Premam was Sai Pallavi’s debut in the Malayalam film industry and she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut - South, for her performance in it. She is awaiting the release of her Tamil film NGK, in which she is paired opposite Suriya for the first time.
