In his early days, composer Santhosh Narayanan was a hugely reticent individual who thought twice even before giving interviews. The hard-to-reach composer rarely spoke out loudly, even at press meets and audio launch functions of his own films. However, with the passing time, Santhosh has changed his mindset and is speaking out more often than not. And now, he has taken the big leap by signing up for the slot of a lead judge for a brand new TV show.
Named Singing Stars, the show will be tackling a unique new ground in reality TV shows with contestants competing with each other in the same duet song crooned. The show will be aired on Colors Tamil during a prime Saturday evening slot. The entire team of Colors Tamil along with the show's judges in Santhosh Narayanan, Shaktisree Gopalan and Ananthu met the media in this Chennai on Wednesday afternoon at the grand launch of the show.
Speaking about his new outing, Santhosh said “I am delighted to be joining hands with COLORS Tamil for a path breaking show like this to mark my debut in the TV space. The kind of talent we have unearthed in this journey is astounding and the affinity showcased by each pair during their performance is simply soulful.”
Apart from the TV stint, the composer is busy with a variety of projects in Tamil, including Santhanam's fun entertainer A1, Jiiva's travel drama Gypsy and Parthiban's murder mystery Oththa Seruppu. He is also said to have signed the big Dhanush - Karthik Subbaraj project which will go on floors in July. An official announcement on the same is expected from the makers.
