Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi has not been taking many film offers these days owing to his busy commitments in political life. He is the Rajya Sabha MP from Kerala and in fact he is the first Mollywood actor to be a part of the upper house of the Indian Parliament. He is also said to be the sixth nominated member of the Rajya Sabha from Kerala. He was last seen in the Malayalam film My God directed by Mohanan.
Our sources tell us that he would be featured in a Tamil film. “Suresh Gopi will be seen in a Tamil film Thamizharasan featuring Vijay Antony as the lead,” said the source. The film will be directed by Babu Yogeeswaran and it will be an action drama. This flick is produced by SNS movies where Remya Nambeesan will be the heroine. The highlight of the film is that music maestro Ilayaraja will be scoring music.
Suresh Gopi’s last Tamil film was I directed by Shankar with Vikram as the hero. Gopi played an antagonist in the film. Post this, as mentioned earlier; he has not been taking film projects.
