Ever since the release of Singam 3, Suriya’s fans have always kept a tab open for the star’s reunion with director Hari for another film. Though Hari has clearly said that it will not be another sequel to Singam and will be a fresh film, the excitement level is the same for this successful combo which has given birth to many solid entertainers.
Now, sources in Kollywood have revealed that the duo is indeed getting back together in 2019 for a project which is tentatively titled Yaanai. Though further details on the same are yet to be revealed, it looks like this is the project which Suriya will resort to once he completes his current commitments.
After wrapping up the shoot for his long-delayed political drama NGK, Suriya is now set to resume the shoot for his action thriller Kaappaan which has already got done with more than 50% of its shoot. The star will be sporting more than five looks in the film, which has him playing the role of a special ops bodyguard taking charge of a tense situation faced by the Prime Minister of the country. Kaappaan has Mohanlal, Arya, Sayyesha, Boman Irani and Samuthrakani in the cast and marks the third outing of Suriya with KV Anand after Ayan and Maattraan. After completing this film, Suriya will be moving on to his next with Sudha Kongara, touted to be an intense drama.
