Days before the release of her upcoming Tamil film Kanne Kalaimaane, pretty lass Tamannaah flew down to Chennai for the promotional run. Apart from her promotional activities, Tamannaah also set aside some time to watch the final cut of the film along with the entire team on Sunday morning. Speaking at the media meet, the actress called it one of her best roles till date, saying that she was happy and extremely satisfied after watching the film. “Usually, a film concentrates on only one thing, but through Kanne Kalaimaane, Seenu Ramasamy sir has put in a lot of important topics. Anybody who watches the film, even if they don’t know the language or without subtitles, will still connect to it,” she said with a smile.
To everybody’s surprise, Tamannaah had a request to put forth to the film’s hero, Udhaynidhi Stalin. “Sir, please consider me once again when you do another film. I don’t usually ask, but I really want to work with you again. I believe it is one of my best pairings. Bharathi and Kannan are still in my eyes,” she said, referring to the character names of the two in the film.
Interestingly so, Kanne Kalaimaane is Tamannaah’s 50th film as an actress, going in as a big milestone. The rural drama which has a backdrop of agriculture, hits the screens on the 22nd of February.
