Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha’s life is a history that had an exciting number of ups and downs. She is considered as one of the greatest leaders in India who made an intangible connect with the people of Tamil Nadu. Since her death, leading directors have been expressing their interest to showcase her life history in the visual form, either through a film or web series. On that note, directors Vijay, Bharathiraja, Priyadhaarshini, Lingusamy, and Gautham Vasudev Menon are busy with their respective plans for making Jayalalitha’s life story as a biopic.
Director Gautham Menon is making this biopic as a web series, with actress Ramya Krishnan said to play the legendary politician. A few days back, it was hinted that the shooting of this web series happened at AVM Studios in a secretive setup. Now, close sources tell us that the tentative title for this web series is Queen. It is also added that the team is addressing the web series title as Queen at the shooting spot, though there has been no official statement on the same. We will have to wait for some more days to know the finalized title of this biopic.
Meanwhile, GVM’s two directorial projects Enai Noki Paayum Thota and Dhruva Natchathiram are long overdue and the fans have been awaiting on these projects, very eagerly. The reason behind the delay for both the projects is not known. While ENPT’s edit is locked and is waiting to clear the censors, a full lengthy schedule for Dhruva Natchathiram is yet to be shot. This delay in Gautham Menon’s projects has become a topic of discussion on social media as we are able to witness constant memes surfacing around the web. It is an unknown mystery as to when these films will see the day of the light.
