The astounding successes of Geetha Govindam and Taxiwaala have put Vijay Deverakonda on the map of the big heroes in Tollywood. The actor, who is in high demand from a lot of producers down south, had recently got done with the shoot for his student political drama Dear Comrade, handled by debutant Bharat Kamma. The film was all set to hit the screens as a summer treat, but it looks like that is not happening.
Vijay, who had gone through the rushes of the film, is seemingly unhappy with some of the portions. In turn, the actor has asked the team to reshoot the particular scenes once again. As it involves a lot of dates to be rearranged for both the actor and the supporting cast, it is now leading to the delay in the post-production process of the film. However, the team is hopeful that they can get the film ready by the end of May.
Essaying the role of a cricketer, Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in Dear Comrade, while Shruti Ramachandran will be seen in a pivotal role. The film is produced by Yash Rangineni under the banner Mythri Movie Makers, who are known for many blockbusters in Tollywood till date.
