After delivering big blockbusters such as Geetha Govindam and Taxiwaala, Vijay Deverakonda has packed his 2019 slate with many interesting films which are at different stages of production. While his next film in Dear Comrade has recently got done with its shoot, the actor is now working on his romantic drama with Kranthi Madhav. And now, we hear that his upcoming project with writer-director Anand Annamalai would be made as a trilingual.
According to our sources, the yet-to-be-titled venture will be made in Kannada as well, apart from the obvious Tamil and Telugu versions. Titled Hero, the film will be a sports-cum-relationship drama where a biker dude crosses roads with a musician. Vijay will be undertaking a crash course on biking before starting work on the film.
Malavika Mohanan, who was last seen in a pivotal role in superstar Rajinikanth’s Petta, will be playing the female lead here. The film marks her entry into the Telugu industry, after being seen in Tamil and Kannada films apart from Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds.
Vijay Deverakonda is expected to get going with this film once he completes the ongoing Kranthi Madhav project. Meanwhile, sources add that he has also signed another Tamil-Telugu bilingual with the popular production house Dream Warrior Pictures. An official word on the same, is expected very soon. Read More
