While the shoot of Vijay's current film, Thalapathy 63, is progressing steadily, we have an interesting update on his previous film. His last with AR Murugadoss, Sarkar has been released on Netflix. The film was about the provision 49 P in election voting procedure which drew widespread controversy during its release time which gave it the unintended popularity. In fact, recently the election commission is also releasing awareness update on this provision. Coming back to Sarkar being released in Netflix, apparently, Vijay is the only south Indian hero to have three movies on this platform.
“Thalapathy is the only actor whose three films have been released on Netflix. His previous films include Kaththi and Mersal”, sources state. This is indeed an interesting observation. This is a time when alternate platforms for film release are getting popular and looks like Vijay’s fans will have a field day watching their hero’s films at their own convenience. His fans are very happy about this unique development and are widely sharing their happiness in social media.
Thalapathy Vijay is right now busy working on his film Vijay 63 being directed by Atlee which is yet to be titled. The film bankrolled by AGS Entertainment has Nayanthara as the heroine. Kathir, Yogi Babu, Vivek and others form supporting cast. AR Rahman scores music for the film which has G K Vishnu handling cinematography and Ruban editing it. The film is aiming a Diwali release this year. The shoot has been happening in various places that include massive sets in Binny Mills Chennai and also Prasad Studios in Chennai.Read More
