Busy bee Vijay Sethupathi is showing no signs of stopping, trying to squeeze as many projects as possible into his packed schedule. The actor has just signed up a new film in which he will be playing a musician. The intriguing fact here is that Vijay Sethupathi’s look and character in the film will be similar to that of a tramp, with freakish hair and rugged costumes.
This new project will be directed by Venkata Krishna Roghanth, an assistant of SP Jananathan. Pre-production work is already underway, with shoot to begin by the mid of March. The team is now planning to put up the set of a 150-year-old church, as a majority of the film takes place in the December-January season with the Christmas and New Year celebratory backdrop. Though romance will be an important part of the film, the core story is said to carry an international issue.
While the heroine is yet to be finalised, it has been confirmed that Nivas K Prasanna of Thegidi and Sthupathi fame will be composing the music for this project. Since the musical requirement of the film crosses a variety of genres, the composer is now camping in the US to get more details on the way to work for this project.
