Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming movie with director Atlee, with the working title Thalapathy 63, is progressing rapidly. The first schedule of this project is underway in Chennai and we recently reported that the unit had just finished filming the intro song for Vijay, at Binny Mills. This song is said to have had about 250 people on the sets, apart from the lead. There are said to be about 100 children below the age of 10 and hundred-and-fifty junior artists.
Following this, the unit is all set to move on to the SSN College for their next schedule of shoot. Our source close to the unit reveals, "We have finished shooting for Thalapathy's intro song in the movie. This shoot had over 10o children and 150 junior artistes in a mass sequence. The song was wrapped up on a grand set at the Binny Mills. We will next be heading over to SSN College for our next schedule."

Thalapathy 63, bankrolled by AGS Entertainments, has Nayanthara in the lead and Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Robo Shankar, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Kathir and many others as part of the supporting cast. AR Rahman is scoring the music, GK Vishnu handles the camera and Ruben is in charge of the editing. The unit is scheduled to complete shooting a majority of the movie in and around Chennai before heading to locations outside the city. Stay tuned for more interesting updates.
