As Vikram quickly got done with his portions for his upcoming action thriller Kadaram Kondan, he was supposed to get going with the pending work for his long-delayed espionage saga Dhruva Natchatiram, the dream project of director Gautham Menon. The film’s exciting posters and teasers promised a lot, but there seems to be no sign of it resuming with the director being busy with his Jayalalithaa biopic starring Ramya Krishnan.
In turn, Vikram has got onto the sets of his Mahavir Karna, the 300 crore biggie in which he is essaying the titular role. Directed by RS Vimal, the film has gone on floors at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The first schedule, which will be shot over a period of 3 weeks, concentrates on the massive Kurukshetra war sequence which will be a huge visual treat with thousands of junior artistes all over.
Vikram, who will only be shooting for a small portion in this schedule, will be taking a break after this to beef up his body to suit the character. The actor will be breaking his own standards in terms of both the lengthy dialogues and the action sequences in the film, which will star actors from all around the country. Produced by United Film Kingdom, Mahavir Karna is slated to hit the screens by the end of 2020.
