RJ Balaji’s upcoming comedy flick LKG has been the cynosure of all eyes for the last two weeks, thanks to its innovative and interesting promotional campaign that has got the film a lot of attention. Owing to that, the film was allotted 5 am shows across many theatres in the city on its release day, February 22nd.
This however didn’t go too well with actor Vishnu Vishal, who put out a tweet saying that 5 am shows have lost their respect, and are turning into a gimmick. The banter then escalated into a huge debate, with both sides hurling out open tweets as replies to each other. RJ Balaji went a step ahead in putting out a sarcastic video saying that he is already getting drained out promoting the film, and cannot type any further as his fingers were paining. Balaji also indirectly took a dig at Vishnu, saying that he himself has come in from a middle class family and is not high-handed like the opposing party.
Vishnu then replied with a couple of tweets, but what happened later ended the tug of war. RJ Balaji came up with a final tweet, saying that he had spoken to Vishnu over phone and sorted out the difference of opinion. Vishnu too, replied to the same in a matured manner, finally!
Such an incident dates back to the early days where RJ Balaji had trolled Vishnu’s film Bale Pandiya openly. The duo were also noted for some sour talk during the release of Vishnu’s Neer Paravai.
