The 50th day of Thala Ajith’s Viswasam was celebrated in a really grand manner in many theatres across Tamil Nadu on Thursday. The celebrations on the day of release paled in comparison to what unfolded on Thursday. The core team of the film - director Siva, composer D Imman, editor Ruben, cinematographer Vetri and comedy actor Robo Shankar were present in Chennai’s Rohini theatre to experience the 50 days celebrations along with 1000s of wildly excited Ajith fans.
The Rohini complex was converted into a Live concert-like zone, with a DJ belting out Thala’s hit songs prior to the commencement of the screening at 7 pm. Fans danced, hooted, burst crackers and had a ball of a time. Numerous banners and cutouts were specially put up for this celebration, by fans at the venue.
Before the show began, fans also proudly displayed a “veera vanakkam” (a brave salute) banner which had the faces and names of our martyred CRPF jawans of the recent Pulwama terrorist attack.
At the interval, fans chanted director Siva’s name in excitement and the director also acknowledged them from the balcony. He entered the theatre amid a huge rush of frenzied fans. Robo Shankar was evidently enjoying all the attention from fans.
After the show, Imman and Ruben couldn’t stop gushing and shared their excitement on Twitter.
It was one epic, memorable night of celebration indeed! Read More
