Quite a long time ago, Dhanush had announced through his Twitter page that he would be teaming up with young filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj for a film. However, the actor got busy with his other projects and the film never took off. Karthik then went on to make Petta with superstar Rajinikanth, which went on to become a huge success.
While many have thoughts on the Dhanush – Karthik Subbaraj film being dropped, our sources say that the combination is set to return to its original shape in the month of June. Karthik is now giving final touches to the script, and will begin the pre-production work from next month. More than half of the film will be shot across important locations in New York. While the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be firmed up, the team is expected to make an official announcement by the month of May. In the meantime, Karthik is simultaneously working on another film for superstar Rajinikanth, which is likely to start off by the end of next year. Read More
