Padmavaat saw the light of a screen after a long drawn battle with right wing forces, who eventually withdrew their allegations against the film in the end. After a deferred release date and multiple changes on the edit table, the movie turned out to be an undisputed hit having already filled director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s exchequer with Rs 236 crore on its second week at the box office. The movie's leads Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh could not be thankful enough.

Having recovered the movie’s budget and the film being well on its way to bring in much more, the stars can finally give themselves a pat on their back for having done their job well. But nothing remains constant in Bollywood especially for super-hit delivering stars. While Deepike, Shahid and Ranveer relish the success of Padmaavat, they are already moving on in their own separate ways.
Shahid was seen cruising on a bike on the sets of his next film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu. On the first day of the shoot, the star made sure he kept his fans abuzz by sharing the oh-so-handsome shot from the shoot.
Ranveer having essayed a barbaric conqueror through Khilji is now up to not so barbaric acts. The actor stepped out of his role and is now back to his old form of dressing quirky and keeping his energy intact. As Bollywood raves over the PadMan challenge, Ranveer participated but added his shimmy to help promote PadMan with Akshay Kumar himself.
Deepika is reveling in her post Padmaavat era but shed off the heavy attire of Padmavati. However, she carrying on the ethnic thread from the film. The star was recently spotted at an award ceremony draped in a simple red and white horizontal striped saree. The leggy beauty had all the camera pointed at her as she accepted an award.
As the stars move on at their own pace, their creativity will live on in Padmaavat.
