Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has shared a note on his social media warning his fans against theatres playing dubbed versions of his latest film, Sonchiriya. The actor has urged the fans to report the offending theatres to him so that he can escalate the matter to the authorities. While Bollywood is fighting its battle against piracy, Sushant has urged the fans to help him identify the people who are releasing the dubbed version of the film which had never been shot.
Taking to social media, Sushant first thanked his fans for the love they showed his film which boasts stars like Bhumi Pednekar, Ranvir Shorey, Manoj Bajpayee, Ashutosh Rana and several others in pivotal roles. The actor in the post also took a dig at the low number of screens given to them but also stated that he is happy that despite not being given good numbers of screens to the film, he is happy that the film has got rave reviews and the numbers are also growing gradually.

Sonchiriya is a dacoit drama directed by Abhishek Chaubey who earlier directed Udta Punjab. Reportedly the film opened to positive reviews but abysmal opening collections. On its first day, Sonchiriya made just Rs 1.2 crore at the box office and on Saturday, it made Rs 1.5 crore. The film was released with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s Luka Chuppi which has made Rs 18 core in two days.
