Stranger Things to roll season 3 with Dad Steve getting more screen time
Netflix’s sci-fi thriller Stranger Things has become one of the most awaited series of the year. As the cast and crew of the web series gears up for its third season, its fans can’t wait to know about what to expect in the next season. With just a few hints from producer Shawn Levy, the show has once again reinstated that fact that season three will be yet another nail biting screamer thriller.
When some new girl joins the party.
In a public meet, Levy confirmed that the season will kick off with Eleven (Millie Bobbie Brown) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max (Sadie Sink) playing couples but again their relationship will not be without a few metaphorical Demogorgons. "Mike and Eleven and are going strong, so that's a relationship that continues, and same with Mad Max and Lucas. But Again, they're like 13 or 14-year-old kids, so what does romance mean at that stage of life? It can never be simple and stable relationships and there's fun to that instability," said Levy.
Mike: Set it on fire. Dad Steve: THAT'S A NO.
The season will set off a year after the last season in the year 1985. While there will be certain character developments, the famous Dad Steve image of Steve Harrington will be kept intact. “We'll definitely get to see some more of Steve Harrington in season three, and I"ll just say we won't be abandoning the Dad Steve magic. I don't want to say much more, but I literally feel that we were walking along and we stumbled onto a gold mine with Dad Steve," Levy added. You can definitely accept more of babysitting moments from the Hawkins heartthrob.
For reference, makers revealed that they are using sci-fi film Back to the Future. While the release date of the third season is yet to be announced, fans can’t wait to get back to the world of Hawkins.
