Sunny Leone turns warrior in her Tollywood debut
Sunny Leone is all set the make her Tollywood debut. After an overwhelming response from her last visit to Kerala, she has been roped in for a film. The film would neither be erotic or romantic or a comedy film. She has bagged much more than just an item song. The film is a full-fledged period drama.
According to reports, the film will be directed by VC Vadivudaiyan and will be made on a huge budget. Sunny will be playing the lead in this period film which will see her in the role of a warrior. The actor would be undergoing some strenuous physical training for her role. Sunny will take horse riding and martial arts classes. A special trainer has been assigned to her who will fly to Mumbai from Andhra Pradesh.
The film, which is originally to be made in Telugu, will also release in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. Technicians who worked on Baahubali are supposedly working on the film.
Confirming the news, Sunny Leone posted a video in which she says she's very excited about the film and that she's always wanted to play the role of a warrior. The actor dismissed the question of whether this would change her "image" by saying she believed "everything was a stepping stone to something greater."
Talking about the character she will be donning for the first time, she said in a video posted by her, “My character is extremely strong. Any representation of a woman that I'd love to play is her because she is extremely strong. She is an independent woman.”

Sunny made her debut in southern films with an item song in a Tamil film back in 2014 and then in a film called Current Theega, which had released in the same year. However, post that she made a comeback in 2017 with PSV Garudavega.
The untitled film will go on floors in February. Sunny Leone was last seen in Arbaaz Khan’s comeback film, Tera Intezaar, as the lead which bombed at the box-office.
