Nagraj Manjule, known for his blockbuster Marathi film Sairat, is all set to make his Bollywood directorial debut with Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Jhund. Even as the movie is yet to hits the screens, Manjule has already begun following the footsteps of Big B. The director will take the hot-seat as host of the Marathi version of the hit show Kaun Banega Crorepati. The Marathi show titled Kon Honaar Crorepati has enjoyed three successful seasons and is now in its fourth season. Kaun Banega Crorepati is one of the most loved game shows on TV and is aired in multiple regional languages like Tamil and Bhojpuri.
The filmmaker took to Twitter to inform his fans his hosting assignment. He shared a promo of the game show in which we can see him dramatically walking on to the sets and taking the host’s seat. It will be interesting to see how Manjule will be as the host of the show as it will be for the first time a filmmaker, or a non-actor will host the game show. The first two seasons of the Kon Honaar Crorepati was hosted by Sachin Khedekar and the third season was hosted by Swapnil Joshi.
The most interesting part will be to see what megastar Amitabh Bachchan has to say about Manjule hosting Kon Honaar Crorepati.
