Pulwama terror attack: Kapil Sharma supports Navjot Singh Sidhu, Twitterati trend #BoycottKapilSharma
Navjot Singh Sidhu is facing a lot of backlash for his statement after the Pulwama terror attack. Soon netizens demanded that he banned from Kapil Sharma's show. The makers of the show and the host didn’t speak about it then, but now, Sharma has finally opened up about the whole scene. Recently, Kapil was in Chandigarh to attend the Drug Free India event and he spoke about banning Sidhu from his show.
Kapil said, “There should be a concrete solution, these are small things like ban someone, throw out Sidhu ji from the show. You tell me if will taking off Sidhu from the show would have been the solution for (terrorism) then he would have left the show himself. So, these hashtags, #BoycottSidhu and #BoycottKapilSharmaShow are to manipulate. I feel people should talk about important topics and focus on genuine problems. With these things you are making youth divert their minds.” The video of the same has been shared on Twitter by BJP’s Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga and now Twitterati want to boycott Kapil Sharma too.
#BoycottKapilSharma is one of the top trends on Twitter right now. We wonder if this will affect the show and also Sony TV.
