Varun Dhawan calls Shoojit Sircar's ‘October’ his toughest film
Varun Dhawan may have joined the Rs 100 crore club this year with Judwaa 2 but he is scaling a different peak with Shoojit Sircar’s October. The star called it his toughest film so far and that it has challenged him in a different way altogether. He is slowly breaking out of his newbie shell as he seems undaunted to move away from his previous record of masala films, October seems to be his perfect career getaway.
"Working with Shoojit da was my dream, which has been fulfilled now. After a long time, I have done something which is different," Varun said here on Friday on the sidelines of Reliance digital Filmfare glamour and style awards 2017.
During a Twitter session with his fans, the 30-year-old star deftly named October as ‘tuff’ when asked about his ‘toughest performance so far’. His upbeat and warm reflections on the film has only got our attention piqued for the April 13 release.
"It feels amazing. We wrapped up the film in 38 days. 'October' is more than a film to me. I don't want to say much about it, but this film has definitely impacted me so much as a human being. I think it has definitely changed me as a human being."
While little has been revealed about the plot or background of the film, Times of India reported that it might be based on Academy award nominated Hollywood film, Her. Alongside Varun, the film will also feature model Banita Sandhu.
