But here’s one more that is a bit of a stretch, women offer prayers and flowers to a kangaroo-shaped dustbin mistaking it for a god.
The bizarre video of unassuming women worshipping the dustbin installed inside a temple complex is making rounds on social media. The shocking video shows sari-clad women applying vermillion, pouring holy water and flowers over the dustbin and then praying to it. The location of the video could not be verified but Twitterati says that the video is from Bihar, presumably shot during the Chhath Puja.
The 23-second-video that first made to the internet on October 28, left social media in splits. It has been widely circulated with over 1.7 thousand retweets.
