Lalu Prasad Yadav targets Bihar CM Nitish Kumar following the revelation of reports that some Bihar government officials misappropriated funds meant for the construction of toilets. Lalu tags Nitish as #ToiletChorNitish. This hashtag targeting Nitish has been trending all Sunday on Twitter. According to a TOI report, Bihar government officials misappropriated as much as Rs 13.50 crore, meant for the construction of toilets in the state.
Lalu went on a rant and released a series of tweets tagging Nitish Kumar as #ToiletChorNitish. Here’s a look.
The RJD chief then spoke about the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan', the pet project of Nitish's ally, the BJP-led NDA government. "Look at how India's been cleaned," tweeted Lalu, referring to the misappropriation of funds for toilet construction.
Lalu gets creative by every Tweet. He made a play on the title of a recent film to coin his own version for Nitish. He called it 'Toilet: Ek Ghotala Katha', and tweeted that the story, screenplay and direction are all by Nitish.
Lalu demanded a probe into the toilet construction scam, claiming that a "proper" investigation would find the actual quantum of the fraud be hundreds of crores. Lalu left no stone unturned to entertain us with his hilarious Twitter updates carrying the hashtag, #ToiletChorNitish.
