Congress Vice-president Rahul Gandhi has had a difficult time connecting with the people. His speeches have been both scrutinized and criticised time and again. Fairly sometimes for the kind of mistakes he made on public platforms. They didn’t go unpunished considering this is a man leading India’s oldest political party. But things have been changing for the better lately. There’s a new energy in Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter presence, and many have wondered whether it’s by design. The 47-year-old had this to say to all his detractors.
Ppl been asking who tweets for this guy..I'm coming clean..it's me..Pidi..I'm way 😎 than him. Look what I can do with a tweet..oops..treat! pic.twitter.com/fkQwye94a5

We don’t know yet whether Pidi is a one trick pooch but it’s certainly one that has the neutrals entertained, well-wishers elated and the opposition worried.
Humour and sarcasm work brilliantly on the social media, Gandhi has been mixing them well recently.

Reports say Gandhi gained more than 1 million followers between July and September this year. Rahul currently has 4 million followers on twitter. Not a patch though on PM Modi who has 35.9 million followers and counting.
