Thought writing spine chilling novels could be delivered only by top writers? Think again. This AI bot is giving horror story writers a run for their money. Shelley is an AI bot created by an AI research team, it tweets out beginnings of a horror story every hour. Humans can then participate in the story telling by taking the narrative forward.
🆕 I ghastly started to walk to the door, but before I could, I heard a scream. It was the same fucking scream I heard from her the night 1/3

Shelley is your human horror story jammer as she replies to her tweets when you continue the story ending with #YourTurn. It is an example of a human-AI interaction resulting in creativity.Made from the imagination of Pinar Yanardag, Manuel Cebrian, and Iyad Rahwan from MIT Media Labs, it was a follow up project of their last year’s AI bot which could paint horror images. “Creating a visceral emotion such as fear remains one of the cornerstones of human creativity. This challenge is especially important in a time where we wonder what the limits of artificial intelligence are: Can machines learn to scare us?” wrote Cebrian in an email to Co Design, a technology business daily platform.
🆕 I was a decent curious child. I developed memories in my head. As I grew up in the Army, many times I was constantly accepted to be a 1/2
