Razer makes some incredible gaming gear and a move towards smartphones was inevitable. New leaks have confirmed rumours about it being a beast of a gaming smartphone. First spotted on 3G, a UK mobile plan reseller’s website, the specs has the potential to make you salivate. The phone is set to debut today.
The page in question has since been removed but an archived version is still available on the internet. According to 3G, the 64GB Razer Phone has a 5.72-inch quad-HD IGZO display with an insane 120 Hz refresh rate. It also sports a dual camera setup with auto-focus and LED flash, 12MP and 13MP wide angle and zoom camera. The Razer Phone also comes with Dolby Atmos amplifiers with THX certified dual front speakers, 4,000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick charge 4+ and 8GB of RAM.
According to an earlier leak acquired by Phone Radar, the Razer Phone is to run on an octacore Snapdragon 835 CPU @2.4GHz and will have an Adreno 540 GPU. However the past leaks and the current ones differ when it comes to camera specs.
The highlight of the Razer Phone is its 120 Hz refresh rate, which sets the phone apart from most of the flagships in the market. With a high refresh rate the display will be more reactive and responsive for playing games – one of most prominent features of the phone.
The leak looks pretty much like the Nextbit Robin, another smartphone from Nextbit, a company Razer bought earlier this year. We cannot wait to get our hands on it.Read More
