Winner of dance reality show DID season one and a well-known choreographer in Bollywood, Salman Yusuff Khan has been accused of molestation. A dancer, who claimed to have been touched inappropriately by him, filed a complaint against the ABCD actor on January 30, 2019, at Mumbai's Oshiwara Police station, reports ANI. As per the report, the victim claimed that back in August 2018, she was contacted by Khan's manager when she was in London for work. It was after this that she met Khan at a coffee shop in Oshiwara where the choreographer presented her with an opportunity to perform in Bollywood Park, Dubai alongside him.
The report further states that the incident took place while Khan was dropping the victim home. When she objected to the indecent behaviour, Salman justified his move by saying that these were usual things in Bollywood. The FIR states that after the above incident took place, she was contacted by the dancer’s manager with regards to work and left for Dubai on August 20, along with her dance troupe. It was on August 30, while she was still in Dubai, when Salman asked the victim to accompany him for another show at Bollywood park resort in Bahrain. As soon as the two reached the airport, Khan introduced her to his cousin brother, who allegedly accompanied Khan in sexually assaulting her while on their way back to Dubai via car on November 3.
It did not end there. The victim alleged that Salman and his team harassed her and her group for days after the incident took place, and even threatened her. After the victim refused to give in, Salman terminated their contract and on November 10 and sent them back to Mumbai.
