Meghan Markle's sharpie has Piers Morgan commenting
Piers Morgan has made it to the headlines once again, this time for poking fun at Meghan Markle.
British TV host Piers Morgan always makes it to the news for making fun of celebrities on his live show, Good Morning Britain. Remember how a few days ago he was making fun of tennis player Andy Murray by talking about his hip x-ray which also revealed his genitals? Andy himself messaged Morgan to stop talking about it on the live TV and Morgan went on to read Murray’s message live. Now according to a report in News.com.au, the TV host poked fun at none other the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and this is not the first time he has done it.
Markle recently visited Bristol and assisted staff of charity One25 to prepare food packets for sex workers. The Duchess of Sussex asked for a sharpie to write messages for the sex workers on the bananas. She wrote messages like ‘You are strong’, ‘You are loved’, ‘You are brave’ and ‘You are special’. Morgan told his co-hosts, “Giving a sex worker a banana is clearly exposing her to potential mockery, I’m sorry. If you’d been advising Meghan Markle before this, would you have said maybe not the bananas?” One of the guests told him to tone it down, but that didn’t happen. He continued to speak about it and said, “Hand me my Sharpie, my moment has come. It’s so patronising — ‘You are strong,’ come on.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visit One25 in Bristol - a charity that helps women break free from street sex work, addiction and other life-controlling issues, through practical and emotional support. While helping volunteers pack food parcels for some of Bristol’s street sex-workers, The Duchess asked if she could write empowering messages on the bananas to the women - a simple gesture and a way to incorporate positivity and kindness for those needing a self esteem boost. HRH learned of this idea from an act of kindness by a school cafeteria worker in the US who wrote messages for children, and The Duchess wanted to do the same for others in need. The food parcels, and The Duchess’s messages, will be delivered directly to vulnerable women on the streets by One 25’s ‘Yellow Van’ - part of their outreach programme. #royalvisitbristol
Earlier Morgan took a dig at Markle, a few months ago, when Meghan and Prince Harry were on the triumphant tour of Australia and New Zealand and announced that they are expecting a child, to which, he said, “She is an actress. She’s acting great at the moment.” We wonder if Palace officials will opt to take an action against this.Read More
