Just a day back, a letter written by Meghan Markle to her dad Thomas Markle spread on the internet like fire. Reportedly, senior Markle was the one who handed the letter over to The Daily Mail. The letter was an outcome of several allegations made by him, claiming that his daughter did not keep in touch with him ever since her royal wedding with Prince Harry took place. The personal letter being out on public forums has hurt many, including Meghan's friend actor George Clooney.
George is vocal about the treatment the duchess is receiving from the press. In fact, he believes it is shaping to resemble what her late mother-in-law Princess Diana went through. "They're just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere, she's been pursued and vilified. She's a woman who is seven months pregnant and she is being pursued and vilified and chased in the same way that Diana was, and it's history repeating itself. And we've seen how that ends," he told Australia's Who magazine while talking about his new show. George, a close friend of Meghan, had attended the royal wedding accompanied by wife Amal Clooney.
