Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to be much active on social media these days. After retweeting Bollywood celebrities’ posts with interesting replies, NaMo’s note responding to a viral wedding card is now ruling the internet. A couple from Gujarat designed a Rafale themed wedding card, through which they pledged support to the BJP while drawing attention to the facts of the Rafale deal. Instantly, the card went viral and it also attracted the attention of the Prime Minister.
The couple, Yuvraj Pokharna and Sakshi Agrawal, penned "Our gift would be whatsoever you may wish to contribute towards BJP via NaMo app,” on the first page. On the second page, they listed down nine points as an attempt to defend the Rafale deal contract under the sub-heading ‘Some facts about Rafale deal’. That’s not all. Interestingly, the heading of the page reads ‘Keep calm and trust NAMO.’ Little did they know that they had a surprise waiting!
The couple, who tied the knot on Tuesday, received a special wish by the Prime Minister, just hours before the wedding. Congratulating the couple, PM Modi wished them happiness for their married life and also asserted that their creative way of extending support had inspired him to work even harder for the country. “I noticed a unique feature of the marriage invitation card sent to the guests. The ingenuity of its content reflects your abiding concern and love for the nation,” read a part of his note sent to the couple.
This isn’t the first time that people have extended their support to NaMo in such a unique way. Earlier, Dhaval and Jaya, another couple from Gujarat, had come up with a similar wedding card.
