Shashi Tharoor loves Twitter and we love him for that. The knowledge that he shares on this microblogging site is incredible. Being a renowned political figure, he often shares his thoughts on the current scenario of the nation and a sizeable number of tweets are dedicated to taking on the opposition. While jest and humour are often part of his words, this time around he was furious as he expressed his displeasure at his name being 'cut off' from the list of people who were to enter Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple in Kerala with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On his recent visit to God's Own Country, Narendra Modi, unveiled the plaque to inaugurate Swadesh Darshan project in the state. He was received by Shashi Tharoor who is an MP from Thiruvananthapuram. Post the event, PM changed into mundu and entered the temple to seek blessings of almighty. However, Tharoor could not enter with him. As his tweet suggests, his name was struck off from the list of people who will enter the temple with Narendra Modi. Because 'Opposition'.
While Tharoor is busy ranting about this issue, Narendra Modi has shared his experience of visiting the state with a few pictures from the temple.
