Shashi Tharoor's wedding wish to this couple is high on chemistry, physics and biology
Congress minister Shashi Tharoor is one of those Indian politicians who has made headlines more for his Twitter presence than for his public speeches. Tharoor's vocabulary is so good that at times, we wonder whether even the English men are aware of the existences of so many words. Time and again Mr Tharoor has left us in splits with his wit and sense of humor and it repeated when he wished a couple for their upcoming wedding. He took to Twitter and shared a picture of a wedding invitation card in which the couple made use of chemical symbols to introduce themselves, i.e., Vn+Sa - to represent Vithun and Soorya.
Tharoor shared the wedding card picture and congratulated the couple, but of course, he added his unique touch to his tweet. Tharoor wrote "Wishing them all the best for a happy married life! May the chemistry between them always sparkle, the physics feature more light than heat, and the biology result in bountiful offspring." The wedding card is now doing rounds on social media with the name 'Chemistry Teacher’s Wedding Invitation’.
While not just Tharoor but the wedding card itself had a funny but cute ecliptic message. While the wedding was called as a 'reaction', the venue was called a 'laboratory'. The couple became the two 'atoms' who trying to be a 'molecule' together with the activation energy of their parents.
Well, now that’s truly hilarious and this is not the first time that the 62-year-old Member of Parliament from Thiruvananthapuram has left us in splits with his sense of humor. Tharoor recently trolled Union minister Arun Jaitley when he welcomed the judgment of UK court on Vijay Mallaya’s extradition. Tharoor was quick to take a dig at Jaitley and reminded him of the verdicts of the Assembly elections which was in favour of the Congress and not BJP.
Well, that's Shashi Tharoor for us.
