It indeed is a rare thing in India to have politicians who have first-hand exposure to international politics. No wonder people are fond (and not fond) of Shashi Tharoor. He is an author, politician, and former international civil servant. He has dabbed his hands in a bunch of things. His birthday falls in March. Currently, he is a second-term Lok Sabha MP representing the Thiruvananthapuram constituency and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs. Previously, he was the Minister of State for Human Resource Development and Minister of State for External Affairs in the Government of India. His super cool three-decade-long prior career at the United Nations saw him as a peacekeeper, refugee worker, and administrator at the highest levels. Woah! What else, he also served as Under-Secretary-General during Kofi Annan's awesome leadership of the organization.
Shashi Tharoor will blow out his birthday candles (if he eats cake that is) on the 9th of March. Let’s sneak-a-peek into his future, especially the 2019 General Elections:
Rahu is in the 6th house and Ketu is in the 12th house. Around the end of March, Rahu will enter the 5th house while Ketu will occupy the 11th house. Jupiter will be in the 10th house for most of the year, and Saturn will be in the 11th house until the end of 2019.
The initial months of the year will NOT see him in the public eye. Sorry, not sorry. During this phase, he may not make any public appearance or address any sort of media. We know, it's sad! But, the good news is that he will be planning and strategizing behind the scenes. Besides, this time will be lit for him and his money.
Sadly, Tharoor will feel a hell lot of mental stress around April. Why? Due to a few silly (or not silly) legal matters or due to some health issues. His media and public approach will be a little guarded. However, things are going to change from late April. The spotlight will again be on him, and you won't miss him in the media. Besides, he will be very active on social media as well and may get involved in a war of words. Ooh, tea! May and June will see an aggressive Tharoor rise from the ashes. Harsh statements and negative publicity will follow.
As the election approaches, Tharoor’s personal life will be in the public glare, open to scrutiny and judgments. And, that means problems. Well, luckily, his popularity will grow in June. But, haters will hate and will oppose him and his leadership (ouch!). He may have to struggle hard to win the election. He will have to fight BJP strongly. In July, he needs to be really careful about his image. The months from August to October will be pretty boring. October onwards things will get more sorted, and he will be back to his work. In November and December, he will socialize and catch up with his pals.
On the whole, the year will start on a slow note. However, things will move faster during the election phase, where he may (he definitely will) face a tough battle. He will put up a brave front and try to resolve matters. In the latter months of the year, he will relax and unwind. His social life will grow, and he will be happy.
Well, that’s all folks! Cheers to this amazing man! Wishing him a happy birthday! And, not to forget, good luck for the upcoming election madness!
