It’s 2019 and with it comes the general elections. Politics is a tricky arena and every party is playing its game. While BJP faces, Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are trying hard to lure the junta with their speeches, it is the opposition who are trying their best to stay united and create an impact. Recently, members of different opposition parties gathered under one roof ahead of the Lok Sabha election. Amid the ongoing gruesome political atmosphere, what grabbed our attention was West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee playing the perfect host at a gathering.
A photo of Mamata Banerjee, where she is seen serving food to her other party politicians and public leaders is going viral on social media. In a room filled with leading opposition faces, the West Bengal CM can be seen serving food to former Bihar deputy CM and RJD’s Tejaswhi Yadav followed by Patidar leader Hardik Patel.
The luncheon was attended by big personalities in the world of politics including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mewani, Shatrughan Sinha and many more. Congress President Rahul Gandhi, however, gave the meeting a miss but wrote to the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee extending his support to the TMC chief's mega opposition rally which took place on Saturday.
