Gone are those days when the mother would have no clue how modern tools of communication such as WhatsApp and Facebook work. A digital mother of 2019 is prompter and smarter than you know. For South African cricketer Dale Steyn, however, it got really funny this time. Steyn's mother, who evidently talks to him a LOT on WhatsApp, wanted to wish her son good luck for SA's third ODI against Pakistan, but got the date wrong and ended up wishing him a day later.
LOL! The match went well for Steyn, who was rested during the first two matches while fast bowler Duanne Olivier made his debut in ODIs. For the third match, Olivier was given a break. Steyn picked stumps of Babar Azam and Hasan Ali, both important wickets. Pakistan and SA are so far on a 2-2 scoreline into their 5-match ODI series and whoever bags the 5th match, goes home as the winner. Amid all that, Steyn didn't forget to share with us the hilarious conversation.

Pakistan, meanwhile, is also set to play a T-20 series with South Africa. Hope mom Steyn gets the date right this time! ;) Read More
