The Ten Year Challenge is going viral on social media with celebrities and normal folk posting images of themselves to show how they’ve changed since the last 10 years. While most of these challenges are posted by the original person, when it came to MS Dhoni, the International Cricket Council and the Board of Control for Cricket in India shared it for him, thanks to his incredible performance against Australia. While Dhoni’s performance was criticized because of his slow batting style, the former captain made up for it later in the game and guided India to a thrilling win.
The ICC shared two pictures of Dhoni clicked 10 years apart. In both the images, Dhoni looked like he just clobbered the ball for a six playing a similar shot. In fact, ICC’s caption said ‘MS Dhoni still smashing sixes and finishing chases.” BCCI however, shared two pictures of Dhoni in batting gear, after hitting a ball. Of course, Dhoni wasn’t the only player featuring on ICC’s 10 Year Challenge list. They shared images of New Zealand’s Ross Taylor celebrating a century with his tongue sticking out.
Meanwhile, Dhoni will be looking forward to continuing his return to form and has been practising at the nets prior to the last match. As for India’s tour of Australia, the visitors had lost the ODI in Sydney to Aaron Finch & Co. However, India bounced back in the second game with a win, levelling the series 1-1. The decider will take place on January 18, following which, India will head over to New Zealand for a tour of that country.
