Virat Kohli is unquestionably one of the best cricketers of the Indian cricket team. In the past, he has broken many records and, recently, in the second ODI against Australia that is being played in Nagpur, Kohli once again broke a few records. The cricketer marked his 50th half century and his 40th century in the ODIs. The team started on a very low note and apart from Kohli, all the cricketers went back to pavilion without making a mark at the pitch.
Now, Kohli stands at the 2nd position in the list of all-time ODI centuries. At number one, we have Sachin Tendulkar, who has 49 centuries to his name. This is the 65th international century for the captain of the Indian cricket team. He is behind Ricky Ponting (71) and Sachin (100). By the way, the interesting fact about this match is that it is Kohli’s first century in India against Australia in 18 international matches. The last time he scored a century was in 2013 at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur.
