While Sunil Gavaskar’s son, Rohan Gavaskar didn’t have a great international cricketing career, he surely seems be the jokester. His claim to fame was playing for India‘s famous tour of Australia in 2004, which unfortunately was his last major tournament. However, in a recent Twitter picture, the son of the legend took a jibe at himself and it was hilarious.

While he said that the picture consisted on three openers, Sachin Tendulkar, Virendra Sehwag and himself. What is says after that will make even his most indifferent fan laugh. Even if cricket was not his strength, he can count on his humour to work in his favour.
Gavaskar Jr. made 11 appearances for the national team. These appearances were in 2004 under the then-skipper Sourav Ganguly in two ODI series in Australia and the Netherlands. His only international half century came against Zimbabwe in Adelaide. Failing to be selected for the national team and find success in the Indian Cricket League, Gavaskar hung his bat.Nevertheless, he did participate in the game as a commentator in IPL 2013. Gavaskar Jr. also made a few appearances in episodes for StarSports’ Star Power and NDTV’s sports show. Reports suggest he could be the next media director for one of the teams going to participate in South Africa’s T20 Global League. While the league is postponed, Gavaskar is still to take up a significant role.
