Skipper Virat Kohli knows how to hold a team together as has been proved at the pitch. His leadership however, is not just restricted to the pitch, captain cool now wants us to get out and play a sport. In a video posted on his Twitter handle, he urged his followers to hit the sun and play a sport and grab a chance to play with him.
Really overwhelmed to see all the love and the wishes. 😊

The message came on the eve of Virat’s birthday when India was playing against New Zealand for T20I. The team may have lost for the second time against New Zealand but they made sure their loss did not dampen their captain’s spirit on his birthday. The birthday bash in the locker room ended in a cake smash for the birthday boy as Virat’s face at the end of the celebration was caked in white cream.
Thank you everyone for all the love and the wishes.
God Bless you all. 😊 pic.twitter.com/DTzlyRiZEM

As Virat turned 29 years old, he made sure his close to 20 million followers got a dash of the thrill he shares for sports. Taking cue from his video, several posted videos of being out in the field. While Virat suggested any type of sport will do the deed, his Twitter was flooded with primarily boys hitting the bat on the pitch. A few did take the cue and shot videos of other sports like football, badminton and wrestling.
