Cristiano Ronaldo's mother opens up about battling with cancer again
It was in summer 2007 when Juventus superstar and five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo's mother, Dolores Aveiro, beat breast cancer to live a good life. But now as per the latest report, Dolores has again been hit with the same disease and is 'fighting for her life'. It so happened that on Thursday, before starting off their trip to Italy with an aim to celebrate Ronaldo's 35th birthday, Aveiro opened up about the new challenge in her life.
While talking to a Portuguese TV station in an interview, she spoke about how she got treated for her breast cancer in Madrid. “I was operated on another breast in Madrid, I’ve had radiotherapy and now I’m fighting for my life." Cristiano's mom did not reveal more details about the operation but added, “No-one knows about the second one.” The big update on Ronaldo's mom heath came in just after she spoke on the allegations of rape that have been levelled against her son. Dolores said, “I have confidence in my son when it comes to what happened. When she went there, it wasn’t to play cards. It was to do something. I know the son I have.”
