Manchester United GOT Kit Harrington a ‘kit’ of his own
Players of Manchester United recently met the 'King in the North'. That’s right, Kit Harrington, who plays the role of Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, arrived at the Old Trafford as the hosts ended their game with a goalless draw against Liverpool. A celebrity like Harington arriving at Old Trafford is a big development, and the club gifted the actor with a specially designed jersey that reads ‘King in the North’ – Jon Snow’s title in the television series.
The actor also managed to spend some time with the players and some of them even stood for selfies. Paul Pogba and Victor Lindelof shared images of themselves with the King on their social media profiles. Lindelof showed his support for the Lord Commander in a tweet while Chris Smalling met Harrington after the match was over. Smalling mentioned in his caption that he can’t wait for the next Game of Thrones season.
Harrington will be soon seen on the big screen when Game of Thrones season 8 releases in April. Besides Harrington, his co-star John Bradley, who plays the role of Samwell Tarly is also a ManU fan. Bradley had awarded Marcus Rashford with the Player of the Month award. After the draw, United will now face Crystal Palace on February 27.
