Sachin Tendulkar is the God of cricket. The little genius has numerous records to his name and is considered the greatest of all times. He could handle immense pressure and was known to deliver irrespective of the pitch or country he played in. Now, his son has taken up the mantle and is following his father’s footsteps. Arjun Tendulkar has already made his name among the upcoming cricketers and has been honing his skills as a fast-bowling all-rounder. Recently, he gained a lot of limelight in Australia with a 24-ball 48 and four wickets in a competitive match at the Bradman Oval.
Well, it is nothing new that fans especially the Tendulkar maniacs will want to know what’s going on with Arjun and if there is a pressure on the young kid because of his father being the legendary cricketer. Speaking to TOI at the Auto Expo 2018, Sachin said, “Those things are there but his focus should be on the game and on his passion. That is what I would want as a parent. Comparisons would happen; if they want to do it, they will. But what I've learned from my father is that whatever work you've got to do, keep your focus on that. Rest of the things will continue to happen. Ups and downs are part and parcel of life. That'll happen as long as you stay passionate. Then, you will be in a position to overcome those obstacles. You'll push yourselves. And I've tried to do that. My experience was really good, the way my father gave me freedom, responsibility came alongside that freedom. So that is what I am trying to do.”

He also enlightened on if he misses the training and practice. He said, “Yes, physically it is nowhere compared to what it was when you were an active cricketer. But I like playing different sports, may it be badminton, squash, table tennis, football, etc. It just gives me a lot of satisfaction. It gives me a lot of joy. All of us friends get together and play and spend quality time.”
