Surgical Strike 2.0: Virender Sehwag gives Pakistan a dose of his satirical sense of humour
Former Indian opener lauded the Airforce strike and had a satirical message for the neighbours.
February 26 will be an important day for all Indians. The nations woke up to news of a second surgical strike on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. The strike by the Indian Air Force was in retaliation to the attack in Pulwama on February 14 when a car laden with explosives rammed into an Indian army convoy and resulted in the death of 40 CRPF jawans. Just 12 days after the attack on Indian soil, India has hit back in one of its most successful military operations. The strike is being talked about all across the country and the IAF is being praised for its brave act. Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag too lauded the strike but it’s his satirical sense of humour that has us laughing during this tense time.
In his hay days in cricket, Sehwag was known around the world for his attacking batting style and post-retirement, his witty side on social media is what fans wait to read. The Delhi-based right-hand batsman took to Instagram and shared a picture of himself along with former Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid in army attire. What caught our attention was the funny caption along with the post and even the hashtags used. Sehwag issuing some serious warnings there. Sehwag doesn’t just dominate on the cricket ground, he’s a boss on the social media pitch as well.
