Portuguese football legend Luis Filipe Madeira Caeiro Figo OIH has touched down India. The 46-year-old player, a former Real Madrid player, is in India for UEFA Champions League. Luis who is also the UEFA Champions League ambassador will be interacting with few lucky fans as a part of the promotional activity. The event is set to take place in Mumbai on Friday and Luis stated that he is happy to be in India and is eager to test the Football knowledge of the fans of this sport.
“It’s a great honour to be able to bring the symbol of the UEFA Champions League to Mumbai. Fans in India are so knowledgeable and passionate about football and I’m excited to meet some of them and test their knowledge of this incredible competition,” Luis said on his India visit. Luis was clicked at the city airport by the paps and the legend received a warm welcome at the airport by the fans.
